Recent Obituaries

Ryan David Harris, age 42, of Sacramento, California, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2023. Ryan was born on March 13, 1981, to Thomas “Tom” Harris, Jr. and Lynda (Rosell) Harris. He moved to Sacramento with his family after spending his childhood years in Holly, Michigan. He loved music and movies, always ready with a film quote or a funny impression. A dedicated and loving son, brother, and uncle, he was often described by those who knew him as “one of the nicest people they’d ever met.” His kindness was particularly evident in the gentle way he treated children and animals. Ryan was deeply loved throughout his life and will be so deeply missed.

He is survived by his mother, Lynda; brothers, Paul Harris and Matthew (Harris) Hagley; sister-in-law, Ashley (Robison) Harris; brother-in-law, Simon Hagley; niece, Hailey Harris; nephew, Justin Harris; and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom; and brother, Nathan “Nate” Harris.

Ryan was laid to rest at Morgan Oaks Eternal Preserve on January 26, 2024.
